Say Goodbye to the Heat
And Hello to a Cooler House
Owning a home includes other expenses beyond just a mortgage that today’s homeowners can’t overlook. One of these is the AC bill. One of the key advantages of new homes is energy efficiency, and a new solution announced this week could make that even better. After creating a building material that is stronger than steel, scientists believe that this type of wood could save 20 percent in AC bills and provide relief to home owners during the hotter months
The Future of Healthcare
Imagine being able to have a one-on-one conversation with your doctor without feeling rushed… and for more than 15 minutes. That’s what one company, Forward Health, has set out to do. Going to the doctor can be nerve-wracking and can sometimes leave you feeling even more confused than when you first walked in. With Forward Health, medicine and technology have merged to create a more seamless experience for patients. From body scanners to touchscreens that translate doctor notes into legible print, this futuristic company is paving the way for healthcare reform. A great example of another industry in search of true digital transformation.
Make Room for the New Generation
If your marketing strategy revolves around targeting millennials, stop! There’s a new generation in town and they are the consumers of the future. And with the home-building industry becoming more technology forward, it’s only a matter of time before builders become their favorite brand. Want to learn more about this forward-thinking generation? Check out one of our recent DCX presentations!
Defying the Norms
According to a study done by USA Today, Baby Boomers are staying put. Empty nesters no longer want to downsize their house. In fact, most Boomers are working well past the average retirement age and have their Millennial children living with them. With those two factors at play, it’s no wonder Boomers are waiting to scale back.
Game in Your Car
Yes, you read that right. Tesla recently announced a new release coming to its cars – a game port. Combing the Unity and Unreal Engines to Teslas, CEO Elon Musk shares that “lots more games coming once we finish porting”. What does this mean for drivers? A new way to play games… even on the go! With this new feature, games can be controlled with the in-car touchscreen as well as the steering wheel and pedals.
Graduating as a Senior in High School and College
