This week, we’ve watched so many of you get creative and adapt your strategy and approach to deal with fewer in person visits and more virtual and online interactions.

At the same time, the BDX team has been busy making changes to to give new home shoppers better access to virtual information, modify our calls to action to steer buyers towards virtual communications, and help shoppers understand the advantages of buying a new home right now.

And these changes are only the beginning – you’ll see us continue to adapt with the situation and make sure that new home shoppers are getting the information they need during this uncertain time.

Here are a few of the things we have done as a response to current events:

Pivoting messages throughout the site (banners & content) to help shoppers understand that new homes (vs used) can be bought virtually and now is a great time to buy.

Modification of the Book an Appointment functionality to Request a Virtual Visit, allowing home shoppers to request a remote tour of homes and if selected which will carry over as a comment in the lead submission for builders to act on.

Changes to our Calls To Action throughout the site to encourage virtual shopping. Pop up forms on the details page now encourage shoppers to “Schedule a Virtual Appointment”.

New messaging in the top of search results pages, to instill confidence in home shoppers that we have all the tools to shop virtually, and now is a great time to buy.

New section on the listing details page highlighting virtual and remote shopping tools that each builder has available.

New learning center landing page, to educate homebuyers on the online tools available so they feel reassured to continue their journey. Check it out here.

And we’re not stopping here, look for more to come in the days and weeks ahead. And remember, your whole BDX team is here for you to support your efforts. Don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
