How does content repurposing help marketers?

Creating new content can take a lot of effort and time, no matter how large your marketing team is. Content repurposing will help marketers lessen their content creation workload. Now don’t get us wrong, you’ll still have to use your brain and creativity to reuse, refresh, and reformat the content, but it will be easier than starting from scratch. The goal of this marketing strategy is to use the whole or a part of the original information, such as a blog post, and recycle it into another type of format for distribution channels that could reach more customers. This practice works with all types of content including blogs, infographics, videos, and webinars. What changes will we see in the advertising budget for marketers in 2021?

Over the past year, brands relied on advertising and connecting with consumers using digital channels, and it looks like this trend is sticking around for 2021. A survey of 260 marketers by Nielsen showed how we could expect brands to use their ad spend this year. The survey revealed that half of the marketers plan to increase their budget for digital online services such as social media, search, and online/mobile video. But less than 10% will increase their ad spend on traditional channels, such as television and cinema. Discover more key takeaways from this survey in this MarketingProfs’s article.

Are TikTok users the most dedicated buyers on social media?

The social media app, TikTok, has exponentially expanded its audience this past year and is estimated to reach one billion users by the end of the year. As the app grows, more and more brands are noticing the advantages of this app, such as advertising services.

Adweek stated, “49% of TikTok users said they had purchased a product or service from a brand after seeing it advertised, promoted, or reviewed on the platform.” The video platform app is especially popular among Gen Z, with 71% owning an account. This might be the reason why TikTok’s loyal users are more likely to purchase than other users from other social media platforms, like Instagram or YouTube.

Enabot’s New Roving Cameras

These new robots look like they came straight out of a Star Wars movie, which is fitting since we just celebrated “May the 4th” this week. Enabot launched their newest devices, Ebo SE and the Ebo Air, and they don’t look like your typical security cameras. Both of these robots can be controlled via a remote and roam around your house with their wheeled design, just like a certain BB-8 droid. These security bots were designed to help watch over your home, but they can also interact with your pets and family.
