Butterfly-Inspired Paint

Tiny nanostructures that bend and reflect light create the mesmerizing blue color of morpho butterflies’ wings. Inspired by morpho butterflies, scientists from China’s Shenzhen University are testing a thin film that helps keep cooler temperatures because of the light-reflecting properties.
